Frequently Asked Questions

—Cats & Kittens—

  • Yes! Every cat you see at Luna Cat Collective is available for adoption through our partner, Small Miracles Cat & Dog Rescue. For more information on how to adopt, visit our home page!

  • Our Cat Lounge is designed as a sanctuary so we can give the cats who get the opportunity to stay at Luna Cat Collective the best life possible. This means providing them with a private space, quality food, plenty of water & a warm, loving, clean environment. Luna Cat Collective covers any emergency or routine vet care with the guidance of our rescue partner Small Miracles Cat & Dog Rescue.

  • As cute as that would be, the answer is, unfortunately, No.

We want to make sure that our cats feel as safe and comfortable as possible within our space and a surprise visit from an unknown four-legged friend would breach the bond of trust we have formed with them.

As thoughtful as it would be for you to bring your own toys, it is unsafe to introduce new environmental factors to the cats.

  • We wish we could let everyone enter the Cat Lounge, but it is incredibly risky for both the cats and children. We have cats of all ages, and kittens are exceptionally fragile and can also be unpredictable. For the safety of your children and our cats, we strictly enforce our age policy.

  • Yes. All cats we take in from the rescue must be spayed/neutered and have up-to-date vaccinations.

—CafÉ & Lounge—

  • Yes, we do offer individually wrapped foods prepared by our partner, Japong Bakery.

No, we do not offer specialty drinks, but we have partnered with Vigilante Coffee to bring you high quality, fresh drip coffee.

  • We keep our maximum capacity down in order to ensure everyone has the best experience possible.

We house about 10-20 cats at a time & want to keep a comfortable ratio between cats & people, so our 1740 square foot Cat Lounge has a max capacity of 26 people at any given time & our 1385 square foot café side can have a total of 50 people at any one time. Once you are done with your visit into the Cat Lounge, feel free to hang out up to 2 hours in our café until you are ready to go.

  • Yes! Our facility is ADA compliant & handicapped friendly. If you are using crutches or a wheelchair, we will have a staff member guide you during your visit to keep you and the cats safe during your stay.

Tickets &
—Reservations—

  • Yes! Walk-ins are welcome, but slots fill up fast. We highly recommend booking your ticket ahead of time to ensure that we can accommodate your visit.

  • Yes. Our Cat Lounge and Café can only accommodate a certain number of people at a time, so it is important to make sure everyone has their own ticket so we do not get over-booked. This helps mitigate over-crowding and overwhelming the cats/other guests, and create a pleasant experience for all.

  • Yes. It is extremely important that everyone who buys a ticket fills out their own waiver for the safety of the cats. Be sure to have it signed before coming in for your visit.

  • Yes! You are more than welcome to visit, but come at your own risk. We would recommend the Spectator Pass if you are allergic - you will still be able to see the cats through the café window, but you will not be directly interacting with them.

Please bear in mind that others who do own cats will be coming and going within the space.

We highly recommend taking any allergy medication you normally would before entering the space if you would like to visit.

  • You are more than welcome to cancel for a full refund or reschedule up to 24 hours before your scheduled visit by emailing us directly at LunaCatCollective@gmail.com

    *Missed Appointments are non-refundable.

*We do not offer refunds to those who cancel less than 24 hours before their appointment.

—Special Events—

  • Yes, we do! Events vary from day to day and week to week, but any events we have lined up can be found on our calendar.

We recommend booking in advance if you are interested in an event as space is limited.

  • Yes, but on a case-by-case basis. The health & well-being of our cats is our first priority. We will only consider events that do not disturb our feline friends.

If you are looking for a private event/booking, please email us directly at LunaCatCollective@gmail.com
